Miss Mabelle Evelyn Arenson, daughter of Mrs. Ida Arenson, and Mr. Menvil Imsdahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Imsdahl of Brooten were quietly united in marriage on Tuesday, June 23, at the home of the bride's mother. The words that made them man and wife were read at 4 o'clock p.m. by Rev. A. H. Hoyme. A six o'clock wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's mother, attended by twenty-five guests. The bride is a graduate of the Brooten High School and the Glenwood Normal department and for the past year or more has taught in the neighborhood schools. The bridegroom is one of the pleasant and accomodating salesmen at the store of the Farmers Co-operative Mercantile Co., a position which he has held for the past five years. Both of these young people have been brought up in the neighborhood and command the respect and esteem of all. Mr. and Mrs. Imsdahl left the following day on a wedding trip to Itasca park, International Falls and points in Canada, following which they will take up the more serious duties of home-making in Brooten. They have the good wishes of a large circle of friends upon their new venture.
